One hot stove:Pav Bhaji

Mumbai street food is as exciting as it is mouthwatering. Not only do you have a chance to taste some incredibly flavorful combinations of ingredients, but standing along the humid streets of Mumbai , watching countless people go by ,is part of what adds to your experience. In this blog post I'm going to share  with you famous street food "Pav Bhaji".

It is one of the most awesome, lip smacking ,luscious chaat that everybody craves for.It is a famous streetfood recipe where veggies like potatoes, green peas, capsicum, onion are cooked together with a medley of spices and served with pav.Like most Indian snacks it is always cooked and eaten on the street rather than restaurants. As for serving, the "Pavs" are simply split, buttered
and toasted and served to the side of the "Bhaji",which itself is garnished with onion, coriander and yet another spoonful of fresh butter.

I visited Mumbai last month with my family and we tasted mumbai special pav bhaji at juhu beach. We loved standing on the shore to mop this almost tongue burning hot and spicy bhaji with pieces of buns smoothered with extra maska(butter).
This is probably one of the very first dishes that i learnt to make from my mom. It is one of the easiest dishes to make , with a lot of good vegetables .
Pav Bhaji! Two words that are music for any Mumbai-ite, regular consumers of the stuff and one may say "who have grown up on the stuff".Despite the regular consumption on almost every outing or feasible opportunity, the taste lingers long and much after the stuff is devoured, to beckon again and again.
