VADA PAV : THE INDIAN BURGER

Of all Mumbai's street snacks ,the vadapav has grown to be the darling of the masses. A pillowy pav, stuffed with a lick of tamarind and coriander chutneys and a sprinkling of garlicky masala,the vadapav is starch heaven,an instant energy booster. It remains till date , a proud of Mumbai's tradition.
Today this snack is synonymous with the city of Mumbai, with almost resident, from factory workers to college students to Bollywood stars,unbashed in declaring their love for it. More than two million of these crispy ,flavourful sandwiches are consumed in India's financial gap and largest metropolis every single day.

"For a city that's always on the move, I think the vadapav makes for the quickest,wallet friendly, on-the-go snack."The dish is believed to have been invented in 1966 by a Mumbaikar,Ashok Vaidya,who opened the first vada stall opposite the  Dadar train station.

If you take a walk down any street in Mumbai, you're bound to quickly come  across vadapav, one of Mumbai's most popular and widely available street food snacks . Also referred to as the Mumbai Vegetarian Burger, vadapav consists of a spiced masala potato mixture, which is deep friedi nto a  patty ,packed into a white fluffy bun, and garnished with a variety of different chutneys and spices for seasoning.
Although it sounds rather simple, and it is , it's one of the greatest tasting vegetarian burger you'll likely ever eat. The chutney makes all the difference. Amd also don't miss those fried chillies on the side to give you a kick of heat and flavour.
