When I hear the word chaat one thing I just can't stop is to resist my mouth from watering. There a lot of items with various innovations and twist. Among all these there are very few which leave us with a taste which we remember for long.
One such taste which I came across in Delhi was simply amazing. It is a favorite binge for every Delhiite. Every mouth would tell DHAI PAPPDI when you ask them for something thats yummy.
Those circular round plates dipped in white snow with small bombs of green and red drops of spicy tangy twist was just heaven in my mouth.The papdi crackled under my teeth. The yougurt smudged my lips and the green chutney lit fire to my mouth. And then came the tiny pieces of potatoes to relieve me.
It's mild taste was really welcoming. It's softness was contracting to the papdis toughness. I wasn't able to find that the chaat actually had potatoes unless i dug it out with my spoon. Before I could even swallow down the potato pieces, all my senses started to Crave for the crispy wafers which retained its crispiness despite being soaked into the creamy curd.
All these wonders dint stop here. The flavours used as garnishes, the pink pomegranate seed sprinkled at the top, the soft chickpeas the chilli green chutney along with a little tangy flavour just soaked my mouth into a variety of amazing flavours.
I was very my delighted to have this extremely spicy and tangy bomb and trust me, I just couldn't stop liking my fingers...
