the Pune Misal Pav
My two trip with pune taught me that the so called punekars are addicted to two things one is there IPL team pune warriors and obviously the street snack famous misal pav. the pune city is famous of its street snack misal pav. me n my cousins had the spiciest misal pav in town served by the hotel called shri krishna bhuvan. the shanipar mandai road was crowded with two wheelers in the very peak evening time and that was the perfect time to have misal pav.
All the people in the restaurant where restless to have their spiciest misal pav .our order was served within 15 minutes with misal pav and poha with bhujia. the poha was in lemon yellow which is good to control your appetite .
The misal pav consists of two components. one is pav and the other one is spicy gravy. the gravy is made of potato and other veggies and first i thought as a pav bhajji but trust me its not pav bhajji, its totally different from pav bhajji. the spicy gravy was topped with chivda[a kind of savory].
misal pav stands a great place in taste as well as in the memories.my cousins ordered another plate for misal pav.but being the spiciest snack of pune i had no guts to have another plate of misal pav.but i regret today not for having misal pav.......miss u pune and its misal pav
